Junior Para Swim Bike and Run 

The Junior Para Triathlon  is all about having a go and we welcome any children with any disability to come and have a go at swim, bike and run (or any combination of those if you don't want to do it all!) We look forward to welcoming both new and returning participants again this year! 

The race will take place at Chesham Leisure Centre, White Hill, Chesham, HP5 1BB on Saturday 15th September 2023

This is a fun event and the emphasis is on having a go and enjoying a new challenge.

Distances

As a rough guide we have put the distances for each age group for those who want to try the whole event. It is not a problem for those who would prefer to do slightly different distances and we will arrange the start times for each individual depending on their preferences.

Age 5-8 Swim 50m, Cycle 1000m, Run 800m

Age 9/10 Swim 50m, Cycle 1000m, Run 800m

Age 11/12 Swim 100m,  Cycle 2000m,  Run 1200m

Age 13/14 Swim 150m, Cycle 3000m,  Run 1600m

Age 15/16 Swim 200m, Cycle 3000m,  Run 1600m

The event is an untimed event with the focus on having fun and enjoying the event so all children will receive a medal and goodies after the event. If the participants wish to start with siblings, that is fine too and if a participant doesn't want to do part of the triathlon, that is fine too!
